About Our Auxiliary The real trick with any Auxiliary is to try to take many different talents and merge them into a unified dynamic organization. In many respects it is very much like trying to piece a puzzle together. Although a challenge, we have found that uniting diverse talents and interests can yield substantial rewards. At the start of every year, the challenge is to try to find the best fit. Our Auxiliary works very hard to make use of all available talent and resources. All of our efforts have paid off. Our Auxiliary is one of the most dynamic and active Auxiliaries in the Department of Virginia. In addition to our involvement in the traditional programs of the Auxiliary, we share a unique partnership with the members of the Post in the continuing effort to promote patriotism, and to provide service to our veterans, their families, and the community. This is reflected in the many programs that are sponsored jointly by the Post and the Auxiliary.
