On Memorial Day Weekend 2004, the grave of Post Charter Member Thomas Tuomey and Ladies Auxiliary Charter Member Eleanor Tuomey in Arlington National Cemetery was decorated with wreaths by John Lyon members. Post 3150 and Ladies Auxiliary members place a John Lyon wreath on the graves of members and their families at Arlington National Cemetery, Columbia Gardens, and National Memorial Cemetery during Memorial Day weekend. According to Post records, the tradition began on Memorial Day 1946. |
