Chief Furgess was visiting the Department of the District of Columbia and crossed the river to stop at John Lyon Post. | 2004-2005 VFW Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief, James R. Mueller (center) is welcomed to Post 3150 by Ladies Auxiliary President Catherine Graham and Commander Greg Moscater during Mueller's visit to the State of Virginia. The visitors also included the Virginia State Commander and two Vice Commanders, Tenth District Commander and President, and Department of the District Commander as well as some members of their staffs. |
2004-2005 Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief Mueller extended his stay to address the audience arriving for the Voice of Democracy, Patriot's Pen, and Teacher of the Year Awards. He was especially interested to hear the winning essays. |
