| Lt. Brian Berke, Arlington County Police Department, was named VFW Police Officer of the Year for the Post. Commander Greg Moscater presents the award while Ladies Auxiliary Senior Vice President Karen Stewart looks on. The competition is a part of the VFW's Police Gold Medal Award competition. During the ceremony, it was announced that Lt. Berke was named the winner of the Department of Virginia competition. His nomination, originated by Post 3150, was forwarded to national for further consideration. |
