Folowing 2004 Purple Heart Day ceremonies at the Purple Heart Memorial in Mount Vernon, Post 3150 representative J. Gary Wagner joins other John Lyon members Mary Straub, Ralph Huston, Dewayne White, and Steve Cobb. Also seen are Edward Schnug (third from right), who received a special citation, and Tanya Cobb (second from right), Post Webmaster. All of them are members of Purple Heart Chapter 353 or its Ladies' Auxiliary Unit 353. The Ladies' Auxiliary of the Military Order of the Purple Heart awarded National Certificates of Recognition to John Lyon VFW Post and Ladies Auxiliary #3150 "in appreciation for outstanding support of the United States Military, Veterans, and their families, and exemplary service to the community". 3150 Webmaster and 2004-2005 LAMOPH National Community Service Officer Tanya Cobb presents the LAMOPH National Certificates to Post Commander Gregory Moscater (left) and Ladies Auxiliary President Catherine Graham (right).
